21st October 2017, Pushkin House London
The Russian Revolution – now celebrating its 100th anniversary (1917 - 2017) - shaped new art and music known for its realism, optimism and heroic qualities. A generation of artists, writers and musicians came to greet the bewildering, miraculous freedom bestowed by the revolution with the exhilaration of a nascent love affair.
Lukas Kroulik with the Pushkin House in London on 21st October, had the pleasure to introduce Brigitte Subkov a talented young pianist from St. Petersburg who gave a commemorative piano recital in honour of the Revolution.
