The traditional debutante season had its comeback! The London Season - which raised £95,000 for The Children Trust - gave me a wonderful chance to volunteer as designer and choreographer of this iconic event in the Savoy Hotel’s ball room.
I got to work closely with Mikimoto, whose £5million worth of pearls adorned the debutantes, couture dress designer Phillipa Lepley who created the gowns, make-up artists and hair stylists from my art school University of the Arts London, sound and lighting engineers, society photographers and best of all - the makers of the massive Choccywoccydoodah white chocolate cake.
